The primary responsibility of the Pre-Sales Technical Application & Quotation Manager will be to support the North American sales team by providing customer application support and preparing and delivering quotations tailored to customer needs. This role entails selecting equipment based on customer specifications, choosing gas coolers, evaporators, and related components, performing energy and lifecycle calculations, interpreting engineering drawings and design concepts, managing tender documentation, and standardizing processes to enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, the candidate will occasionally participate in virtual calls and, at times, in-person meetings to ensure customer satisfaction from the early stages. As the Pre-Sales Technical Application and Quotation Manager, you will play a crucial role in the North American CO2 refrigeration sales team, embodying a proactive attitude as we foster growth in the market with advanced CO2 technologies. You will be motivated to work collaboratively and devise solutions for our customers and clients.

• Maintain high levels of communication with colleagues across North America and Europe;
• Assist and support the sales team and their customers in selecting equipment for their projects;
• Create and develop proposals;
• Conduct energy and lifecycle analyses to support sales and specify Carrier solutions;
• Develop and implement standardized processes to improve efficiency and consistency, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction;
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and a key support for the external sales organization;
• Proactively find solutions with a positive approach;
• Over time, build, manage, and train a team of Pre-Sales Technical and Quotation Engineers to support growth and expansion into new markets.

Education:

• Preferably holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Practical experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the refrigeration, HVAC, or related sectors, with a proven ability to handle technical projects in a fast-paced environment;
• Experience with CO2 refrigerant cooling or similar-sized companies to CARRIER is advantageous 

Required skills:

• Proficiency in technical project design and project management;
• Extensive knowledge of the refrigeration industry;
• Experience with design and calculation tools;
• Familiarity with digital tools for sales and technical purposes such as LinkedIn, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and CAD;
• Language proficiency: English is mandatory;
• Open-mindedness towards handling challenging applications;
