Overview

The Inside Sales Representative is pivotal in assisting the field-based sales team. The role involves interacting with customers to relay essential information, maintaining the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, undertaking diverse sales tasks, and overseeing supplier interactions. The perfect candidate will possess outstanding communication abilities, an active approach, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Customer Support:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding product information, order status, and general inquiries;
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers to support the sales process;
  • Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions, ensuring a positive customer experience.

CRM Management:

  • Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system with accurate and current information;
  • Track and analyze customer interactions and sales activities to support the sales team’s strategy;
  • Generate and distribute CRM reports to the sales team and management as required.

Sales Activities:

  • Coordinate and follow up on sales activities, including sending proposals, quotes, and product information to customers;
  • Support the sales team in preparing for meetings, presentations, and trade shows.

Supplier Engagement:

  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain product information, pricing, and availability;
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to supply chain management;
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support the sales process and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred;
    Practical experience;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inside sales or customer service role is preferrable;

Required skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities;
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
