Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Network Architect to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions. You will be part of the IT Infrastructure unit focusing on Migration, design and improvement projects across the globe.

Our goal is to provide to our internal customers our end-to-end services with sector-specific expertise, advanced technologies, and global resources.

This position requires fluent English communication capabilities, both verbally and in written

The successful candidate will have a deep and broad understanding of Infrastructure architecture, features, and integration capabilities for a large enterprises.

As Network Architect you will develop strategies and roadmaps that ensure optimal performance and productivity.

You will be the technical lead on projects and your responsibilities will cover the full project lifecycle, from the initial technical requirement gathering to the final solution handover, ensuring robust and scalable technical solutions that meet all internal customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Designing network solutions and strategies aligned with business objectives;
  • Manage and overseeing the network infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency;
  • Providing technical leadership and expertise to guide network initiatives;
  • Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending their integration into the existing network architecture;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems;
  • Network Design and Implementation, design and implement network solutions that align with business goals and support growth;
  • Oversee the deployment and configuration of network hardware and software;
  • Network Security and Optimization, develop and implement network security protocols and procedures to protect against threats;
  • Optimize network performance by monitoring and analyzing network traffic;
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to network engineers and IT teams;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and network capabilities;
  • Research and Development, stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends;
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies for integration into the network architecture.

Qualifications

  • Experience with network security protocols, firewall management, and intrusion detection systems;
  • Knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs);
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and technologies;
  • Solid knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and practices;
  • Working experience with ITSM/ITIL as an IT operator;
  • Familiarity with Problem, changes processes;
  • Leadership qualities to mentor and guide team members;
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong team player with a curious nature and the ability to seek help when needed;
  • Demonstrated experience in a large international environment is advantageous;
  • Experience with Service Management technologies (ITIL, eTOM, ITSM) is a plus;
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus;
  • Preferred background: with more than 5 years of experience in IT service providers.
