We have an exciting opportunity for an IT & Telecom Category Manager within Indirect Supply Chain Organization. This Manager will be responsible for creating and developing an industry leading IT and Telecom category management strategy to manage the $25M+ portfolio of spend strategically to create step changes in value creation and industry leading performance in all aspects of procurement including strategy, organizational alignment, sourcing and category management, supplier relationship management, operating process management, performance management, digital and technology.

Strategically manage spend portfolio of $25M+

Application mapping optimization in collaboration with IT team:

• Understand, analyze, and optimize application mapping;
• Categorize associated spends (Software, infrastructure, data, cyber, etc.);
• Identify possible optimization and associated cost reduction;  
• Support TSA exit plan;
• Develop long term strategies (including exit strategies) by subcategories to optimize the existing solutions in place to improve KPI (Operational, Solution Delivery, Organizational, Cost).

 IT projects:

• Be an active support in the issuance of the technical specification;
• Lead all commercial aspects in IT projects (RFQ, Negotiation, Contracts, Claims).

Software & Licenses:

• Responsible for all commercial aspects (RFQ, Negotiation, Contracts, Claims);
• Ensure on time contract renegotiation and renewal.

Hardware:

• Responsible for all commercial aspects (RFQ, Negotiation, Contracts, Claims);
• Develop a long-term strategy focusing on Green IT and cost reduction;
• Deploy strategy at EMEA Level.

Telecom:

• Responsible for all commercial aspects (RFQ, Negotiation, Contracts, Claims);
• Develop a strategy focusing on Green IT and cost reduction to cover mobile phones, landlines, and associated data usage;
• Revisit or Issue in collaboration with HR the associated policies.

• BA/BS business or engineering degree with 4+ years’ experience;
• MA/MS degree with 5+ years’ experience;
• 4+ years’ experience in IT solution procurement (Infrastructure including knowledge of hyperscaler management, Cyber, Software including Saas development, Hardware)
• 3+ years’ experience in multicultural and matrixial environment;
• Proven ability to exercise independent business judgment to drive strategy and results;
• Proven ability to interact with people from different culture;
• Ability to excel in a dynamic environment;
• Ability to partner with CCR IT team to develop a joined roadmap to set the most efficient IT structure (Operational, Solution Delivery, Organizational and Financial Metrics);
• Ability to travel in Europe and internationally as required;
• Develop strong collaboration with IT department, business unit and Indirect local Buyers to align on strategy, supplier selection, change management, and sustainability of value creation;
• Effectively communicate and influence internally and externally to C-suite level;
• Effectively manage supplier relationships up to and including C-suite level and transform from traditional buy-sell relationships to joint value creation/co-risk share models;
• Institutionalize Carrier strategic sourcing process and oversee adoption and adherence (includes creating standards for supplier selection based on total cost of ownership, contracting and negotiation strategy);
• Lead selected strategic negotiations up to C-suite level;
• Oversee project and strategy development, contract management activities and productivity of team using CCR tools to manage supplier performance measures, financial incentives in contracts, and continuity of supply;
