We are seeking someone to ensure 100% compliancy with export- and import regulations, international trade compliance regulations as well as stakeholder management and fully responsible for the final and fully compliant performance of all trade processes in the global CCR company.
Our ideal candidate has a good understanding of EU and Chinese import, export, and sanctions laws and requirements.
Ensure compliance with Customs and ITC regulations within global CCR.
Ensure compliance with International Trade regulations and good practices by performing and managing ITC screening processes and screening results and train key stakeholders on ITC.
Manage investigations of potential or suspected violations of law or company policy and, where required, work with legal to prepare disclosures to government agencies.
Manage and oversee complex transaction reviews for our global business enterprise that touch on multi-jurisdictional sanctions programs and export control regimes.
Manage and update customs, sanctions, export & licensing compliance policies; draft processes and work step instructions in support of compliance policies.
Provide guidance on international trade compliance laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standard work.
Support the development of policies, procedures, standard work and desk instructions for various trade compliance areas (including licensing and authorizations, investigations, facility management, etc.), and support implementation of such requirements.
Support the development and communication of solid ITC program infrastructure, leadership, culture, awareness, and training.
Prepare factual summaries, presentations and training materials regarding trade compliance issues and obligations, and lead presentations and training sessions to businesses and management as needed-
Participate in audits, internal reviews, and investigations to identify compliance enhancement opportunities and develop corrective actions and risk mitigation strategies to address compliance gaps.
Act as sole point of contact with external ITC service providers.
Ensure error free import/export/ customs documentation towards all shipments.
Build and maintain a strong and open relationship with relevant Customs departments and the local Chambers of Commerce.
Stakeholder management by developing and growing a team of specialists.
Increase and maintain knowledge level, provide necessary training/presentations.
Eliminate risks on import duties or penalties.
Ensure timely collection of ex work orders.

Ensure 100% compliance with all Customs and International Trade Control rules and regulations.
Ensure 100% correct import declarations of all import shipments.
Ensure shipping accuracy is as set target.
Ensure all export transactions procedures are followed up and closed by the forwarder/agent within due date.
Ensure 100% shipment announcing on the processing day.
Ensure timely collection of own transport shipments within revenue recognition targets.
Bachelor’s degree in business economics or Logistics.
Manager Custom Trade Affairs.
7+ years of working experience in a similar job.
Subject matter expertise in sanctions, licensing, export controls, import processes, and customs.
Fluent in English in writing and speaking. Other EMEA-languages are an advantage.
Must be an excellent advisor and business partner, able to see “the big picture” yet understand the necessity and importance of being meticulous and addressing details.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP & DMS system (MIC & Oracle are an advantage).
Comfortable in working in a cross-functional matrix organization.
Able to coach a small team of specialists.
