Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain PMO role in our organization.

 

This leader will be responsible for managing the portfolio of projects related to supply chain execution.

Some of the cross-entities or large impact projects will be under this person direct responsibility. The other projects will be supervised by this person by working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects completion, adhere to timeline and scope requirements, and successfully execute them while communicating regularly to internal and external stakeholders.

The projects are intended to cover the entire CCR supply chain $650M+ spend portfolio of Direct and Indirect Spend with a focus on business process improvement and transformation, engineering cost reduction best practices and digital solution implementation.

 

The aims of those projects are:  

1°) To generate Year Over Year savings (3% YOY Annual target)

2°) To foster and execute synergies across our 23 entities.

3°) To standardize, optimize and digitalize our business approach.    

 

This is a critical role in our organization with regular exposure to C-suite level.

Responsibilities

  • Doted line management responsibility for a team of Project Managers and Members, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to support project initiation and delivery
  • Chair the Program Boards and Project Reviews and any other meetings as appropriate.
  • Encourage sharing of best practice and consistency across AHSN NENC ways of working and adoption of company processes and procedures.
  • Co-ordinate Executive team review meetings and ensure the appropriate oversight and review of project progress, timely escalation, and mitigation of projects at risk of not being delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost, and quality.
  • Development and maintenance of Issue and Risk indicators that detail potential issues and risks with respective actions.
  • Organize ideation session across the entities and with support of cross functional team, evaluate the outcome from a financial and feasibility standpoint.

 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS business or engineering degree with 10+ years’ experience.
  • MA/MS degree with 8+ years’ experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in Finance/Project management/Supply Chain leadership; 3 years minimum experience in a program manager role in a matrixial environment.
  • 2 years minimum experience in a similar lead role in a comparable organization.
  • Experience of delivering large-scale projects and leading a Project Management team through delivery in a complex environment
  • Leading a team in a program and project environment to effect significant business change.
  • Effective and collaborative change management in line with strategic objectives.
  • Proven success at managing change while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Developing business cases and providing robust business benefit realization mechanisms.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage teams and work effectively with others as part of project delivery teams.
  • Experience of managing, motivating, and directing teams, including reviewing performance and ensuring the highest standards are always maintained.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and use of video conferencing.
  • Ability to show initiative and develop new approaches.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills with ability to motivate and engage individuals and teams.
  • Ability to create, develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and external bodies from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures, negotiating partnerships where there are potential conflicting goals.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize and manage a highly complex workload with multiple projects, with minimal supervision.
  • Budget management in accordance with organization’s practices and procedures and ability to budget plan and forecast.
  • Analysis of data, assessment of and identification of collaborative working; develop strategies, plans advice in areas where opinions may differ.
  • Responding to rapidly changing priorities, with the ability to quickly realign team’s resources to meet evolving needs and new deadlines.
  • Ability to travel domestic and internationally as required (10%)
