We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician, someone who will provide efficient and accurate maintenance and repair activities on refrigerant devices/ systems of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration customers.
Responsibilities
Should have hands on experience in overhauling open and semi hermetic compressors.
Experience in maintenance and repair of condensing units and condensers.
Experience in maintenance and repair of Centralized refrigeration systems with multi racks.
Experience in maintenance and repair of remote and plug in cabinets.
Experience in maintenance and repair of cold rooms (walking chiller / Freezer, blast freezer and chillers.)
Experience in programming and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical refrigeration controllers.
Experience in programming and troubleshooting of remote monitoring systems.
Experience in maintenance and repair of Ice machines (Scotsman).
Should be able to follow layout drawings and carryout installation of piping and other refrigeration equipment’s.
Should be able to Braze / repair defective joints and leaks.
Observe and test system operation, using gauges and instruments.
Adjust valves according to specifications and charge system with proper type of refrigerant by pumping the specified gas or fluid into the system.
Estimate, order, pick up, deliver, and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition.
Install expansion and control valves, using acetylene torches and wrenches.
Prepare records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years refrigeration experience preferably in Middle East.
