We are seeking an experienced and strategic Indirect Procurement Category Manager to join our team in Lisbon, Parque das Nações (12 Months Fixed Term Contract). 

We are seeking a skilled and committed Category Manager with proven experience across a range of Indirect Procurement categories. In this role, you will manage diverse commodities on a global scale, including but not limited to: Professional Services, Marketing & Advertising, Car Fleet, Corporate Services, MRO, IT, and Logistics. Please note that the scope of categories may evolve over time based on business needs.

As a Category Manager, you will play a key role in identifying cost-saving opportunities and delivering measurable productivity improvements. Your responsibilities will include defining procurement strategies, gathering business requirements, aligning with global sites, leading sourcing activities, managing RFP processes and negotiations, and finalizing contracts.

• Lead negotiations and RFP processes from beginning to end.

• Manage spend portfolio of approx. $35-40M.

• Lead development and implementation of select global category strategies and contracts.

• Develop strong collaboration with business unit and factory leaders and partner to align on strategy, supplier selection, change management, and sustainability of value creation.

• Effectively communicate and influence internally and externally.

• Effectively manage supplier relationships.

• BA/BS business or engineering degree.

• 6-8+ years experience in Procurement/Supply Chain leadership.

• Fluent in English.

• Experience working in a Matrixial environment with cross-functional global teams.

• Autonomous.

• Proven ability to exercise independent business judgment to drive strategy and results.

• Proven ability to achieve results through leadership & influence.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic environment.

• Demonstrated analysis and resolution of complex problems where success requires the evaluation of both tangible and intangible variables.
