Overview

Introduction to Role

As Condensing Unit Sales Engineer, the candidate's primary task is to develop and drive the sales of CO2 condensing units to our target dealer network and partners across North America.

Channel strategies for the CDU’s will include (but not limited too) internal cross collaboration with food grocery retail key account end user sales teams and major dealers across North America (SmartCare/Supermarket Source etc). This person will be responsible for implementing the channels, have high level of engagement whilst also developing new customers of whom can grow the sales volumes of the condensing units.

Responsibilities

  • Strong level of sales and business acumen.

  • High levels of sales activity with contractors and consultants working within the commercial market area.

  • Assisting customers with the selection of equipment for their projects, alongside the pre-sales application team.

  • Ability to communicate across a level of commercial tiers.

  • Pipeline management and follow up.

  • Proactive approach to the market.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year of business development experience from within the refrigeration, HVAC or any related sectors and knows what it takes to work with technical project sales within a commercial environment. The candidate can document their focus on sales, including the development and retention of customers and customer relationships. It is a clear advantage if the candidate has experience with CO2 refrigeration.

The candidate needs to have below skills:

  • New business development experience (hunter profile).
  • Challenger mindset.
  • Knowledge of the commercial refrigeration industry within North America is an advantage.
  • Experienced in management and updating sales pipeline.
  • An open mind for entering new markets.
  • Resilience and a can do attitude.
  • A passion for winning.
  • Language: English is a must.
  • Has experiences of working with tools like Salesforce or similar.
  • Knowledge of digital tools suitable for sales such as LinkedIn, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint.
