We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Management (SCM) to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement, logistics, inventory control, vendor management, and process improvements to ensure seamless and cost-effective operations.

Procurement & Inventory Management

• Manage procurement processes, ensuring timely sourcing of materials while optimizing costs.
• Utilize SAP MM module for procurement planning, order management, and vendor evaluation.
• Monitor inventory levels and work on demand planning to avoid shortages or excess stock.

Vendor Development & Management

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to strengthen the supply chain.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.

Process Optimization & Compliance

• Implement best practices to improve supply chain efficiency and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and sustainability guidelines.
• Work closely with internal teams (finance, production, logistics) to streamline operations.

Reporting & Analysis

• Analyze supply chain data and generate reports to drive strategic decision-making.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as required.
• Support management in forecasting, budgeting, and supplier performance evaluation.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or vendor development.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SAP MM module is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
• Knowledge of contract negotiations and vendor management.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
