We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based infrastructure. This role is responsible for developing a scalable, secure, and high-performance IT environment while ensuring business continuity, security, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data centers, networking, virtualization, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), security, and automation.

Infrastructure Architecture & Design

• Design and manage on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-based IT infrastructure to support enterprise applications and services.
• Develop scalable and resilient architectures that meet business and technical requirements.
• Define standards, best practices, and governance for infrastructure architecture.

Cloud & Hybrid Cloud Strategy

• Develop and execute cloud adoption strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Architect and implement solutions using AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud for compute, storage, and networking.
• Design hybrid cloud models integrating on-premises data centers with public/private cloud solutions.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization.

On-Premises Data Center & Virtualization

• Manage and optimize data center resources, including servers, storage, and networking.
• Architect and maintain VMware, Hyper-V or similar virtualized environments.
• Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions are in place.

Networking & Security

• Design and implement enterprise-grade networking solutions (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Firewalls).
• Ensure security best practices like zero-trust architectures, IAM, encryption, and threat detection.
• Work with CISO, SOC/NOC teams for proactive monitoring, incident response, and risk mitigation.

Automation & DevOps Integration

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation in alignment with development teams.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based deployments.

Storage, Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Define and manage enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, Object Storage).
• Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions for both cloud and on-prem environments.
• Ensure data resilience and compliance with industry standards (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).

Monitoring & Performance Optimization

• Implement monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Datadog, or Azure Monitor.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance across infrastructure components.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning to optimize IT resources.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance

• Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to align infrastructure strategies with business needs.
• Define and enforce IT policies, SLAs, and governance frameworks.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies & emerging trends.

Technical Skills

• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP (Multi-cloud experience preferred)
• Virtualization & Containers: VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Kubernetes, Docker
• Networking: Cisco, Palo Alto, SD-WAN, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers
• Security & IAM: Zero Trust, Identity & Access Management (Entra ID, Okta, Azure AD)
• Automation & IaC: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, PowerShell, Python
• Storage & Backup: NetApp, Dell EMC, Veeam, Commvault, Azure Backup
• Monitoring & Logging: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog
• OS & Database: Windows Server, Linux, SAP HANA, SQL Server, Oracle

Soft Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Experience in enterprise IT architecture, digital transformation, and cloud migrations.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, and security frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).
• Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and work cross-functionally.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication & leadership abilities to engage with executive leadership.

4. Preferred Certifications (Nice to have)

Cloud: AWS Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect

Networking & Security: CCNP, CISSP, Palo Alto PCNSE
