We’re expanding our team in Engineering function of commercial refrigeration buiness, India. We’re looking for a talented, highly motivated, and results-driven engineer with expertise in refrigerant component/system model development and inter-disciplinary (thermal, mechanical, electrical, or control) and technical leadership. As a specialist you will be responsibile for the development, implementation, and testing of physics-based models of Refrigeration components and systems and providing technical leadership to the internal and external customers.
Selection, testing and development of electrical & electronic control component / devices commercial refrigeration systems and products in close cooperation with suppliers, testing labs or with other departments on local & global level
Adaptation/customization of electronic controls for refrigeration product and systems.
Creation of specifications for hardware and software
Development, defining specification and programming of refrigeration controls algorithms
Applying model based design methodology to design, implement and verify our real-time control systems
Performing of tests in the testing lab as well as supporting field trials in sales area
Supporting sales organization with technical support in new product introduction phase
Creation of documentation and standard work for field commissioning and troubleshooting.
Responsible to leading product safety incident related to electrical and electronic components
Ensure components and products comply to applicable regulatory standard like IEC, BIS etc.
Bachelor or master or equivalent in the field of Electronics and communication engineering, with specialization in controls engineering, automation and electronics
Experience of control algorithm design and application
Understanding and experience in model based design methodology
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
Experience in programmable logic controllers (PLC) and their programming languages.
Knowledge about field bus networks and protocols, data communication, remote monitoring
Basic knowledge in refrigeration or HVACR, thermodynamics, dynamic system modelling
Knowledge of process measuring and instrumentation is helpful
Good communication skills and first project management experience
Sense of responsibility and commitment
Team player, flexibility, willingness to travel
