Overview

We are seeking a motivated UAE National to join our supply chain team as a Logistics Planning Associate. The Logistics Planning Associate is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize transportation, inventory, and warehouse management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and managing logistics plans and schedules aligned with customer demands and business objectives.
  • Coordinate with local and international suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth shipment and delivery processes.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to optimize stock availability and reduce excess.
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve any issues such as customs delays, transport disruptions, or documentation discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations, import/export laws, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to shipments, customs clearance, and logistics activities using ERP or logistics software.
  • Generate logistics performance reports and support continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure alignment of logistics operations.
  • Support warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch processes.

Qualifications

  • UAE National with Family Book (mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding in the UAE/GCC region is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UAE customs and import/export regulations.
  • Proficient in logistics/ERP software (SAP, Oracle, TMS) and MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the logistics field.
