Overview

Help us build reliable, compliant products by leading quality engineering across development, launch, and production. You’ll create and maintain robust quality systems, drive continuous improvement, and be a key partner to Design, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for materials, in-process parts, and finished products.

  • Translate product requirements/specifications into test plans, methods, and fixtures to ensure product reliability.

  • Lead proactive quality strategies and continuous-improvement projects; track impact and sustain results.

  • Ensure projects and process-control documentation comply with internal, customer, and contractual requirements.

  • Identify and manage risk in product development using core APQP/PPAP elements (e.g., PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, Control Plans).

  • Run containment/escape management, perform structured root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions (8D).

  • Support new product development and highly customized projects with end-to-end quality planning and execution.

  • Resolve production quality issues quickly and sustainably in partnership with Operations.

  • Manage customer complaints: triage, analyze, communicate, and close with verified effectiveness.

  • Support supplier complaint management and collaborate on supplier corrective actions.

  • Ensure all requirements for work transfers and process changes are met, including Resourcing Gate reviews and PPAP approvals.

  • Define and implement product engineering changes to address customer-raised quality issues.

  • Develop new inspection technologies/methodologies to assure conformance and improve throughput

Qualifications

  • Nice to have

    • Formal ISO 9001 auditor training.

    • Formal training in quality tools (e.g., FMEA, MSA, SPC) and structured problem solving (e.g., 8D).

    • SAP experience.

    • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems.

    • Knowledge of PED (Pressure Equipment Directive).
