CCR, a member of the Haier group, is looking for an experienced EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety activities at our Jászárokszállás manufacturing site. This role is key to ensuring a safe, compliant and environmentally responsible operation while supporting our continuous improvement culture.
Scope & Authority
Full EHS scope and responsibility for all activities at the Jászárokszállás site
Authority to initiate changes to and suspend any activity that poses EHS risk to life, property or the environment
EHS Management
Lead and manage the plant’s occupational health & safety, fire safety and environmental protection activities in line with Hungarian legislation and Carrier EHS standards
Operate and continuously improve the EHS management system, including risk assessments and action plans
Plan and deliver EHS training for employees, management and relevant suppliers
Prepare and support plant management in all EHS-related decisions and activities
Coordinate and participate in internal and corporate EHS audits
Regularly report EHS performance (monthly, quarterly, etc.) to senior leadership
Environment & Standards
Manage and maintain the environmental management system according to MSZ EN ISO 14001
Ensure compliance with EU Regulations 333/2011 and 715/2013
Liaise with external environmental service providers and monitor subcontractors’ EHS performance
Support projects aimed at environmental improvements and waste / emission reduction
Fire Protection
Coordinate all fire protection activities on site
Develop, maintain and monitor the fire protection rule system
Ensure completion of all mandatory inspections and reviews (authority and Carrier required)
Manage relationships with fire protection service providers, including contract preparation
Lead fire safety projects and carry out preliminary fire-safety reviews for new installations
Collaboration & Best Practice
Work closely with the CCR EHS Director on program implementation and accident reduction projects
Represent the Jászárokszállás plant in internal EHS working groups and committees
Share best practices and provide EHS advisory support to the CR Hungary Service & Distribution organization
Bachelor’s or higher degree (technical or related field preferred)
Fluent / negotiation-level English and fluent Hungarian
Strong knowledge of occupational safety, fire safety and environmental protection
Auditor qualification in ISO 900x, ISO 1400x and OHSAS (plus point)
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar EHS role, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environment
Willingness to travel as required
