Overview

We are setting up a new European Finance Shared Service Center in Łódź – and we’re looking for an HR Specialist to help build the team from the ground up and take ownership of daily HR operations.

You will be the main HR partner for the Center, combining recruitment & team build-up, onboarding/offboarding, and HR operations with a strong focus on compliance (Poland & EU).
This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with local management and headquarters HR.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and support team build-up: roles, profiles, and local talent mapping.

  2. Lead end-to-end recruitment for finance roles (sourcing, interviews, offers, pre-onboarding).

  3. Own the onboarding process: contracts, documents, HR systems, introductions and integration.

  4. Coordinate structured offboarding: exit interviews, handover, systems, and formalities.

  5. Maintain accurate HR data and prepare basic HR reports (headcount, turnover, hiring progress).

  6. Partner with Finance, IT, Admin and HQ HR to ensure smooth HR operations.

  7. Ensure all HR activities comply with Polish and EU labor law and GDPR

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or similar.

  • 3+ years of HR experience, including at least 1 year in an international or cross-border context (Europe preferred).

  • Experience in high-volume or “build from scratch” recruitment; SSC/finance industry experience is a plus.

  • Solid knowledge of the full employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding) and HR compliance topics.

  • Good command of HR systems (e.g. Workday, SAP HR) and MS Office.

  • Fluent English and Chines, Polish is a strong advantage. Other European languages are a plus.

  • Proactive, service-minded, comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment.
