Overview

We are looking for an IT Financial Controller with strong expertise in budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting. The role focuses primarily on IT Controlling, supported by a smaller share of IT process‑related work to improve governance and transparency.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

IT Controlling

  • Manage and monitor IT budgets, forecasts, and cost allocations
  • Track IT spend and ensure compliance with corporate financial rules
  • Provide monthly reporting, variance analysis, and cost insights
  • Prepare business cases and investment evaluations for IT projects
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to internal financial controls

IT Process Support

  • Support improvement of IT governance and financial processes
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements
  • Contribute to automation and digitalization efforts to improve efficiency

Cross‑Functional Contribution

  • Align financial steering with process improvements
  • Ensure services and projects stay within budget and quality targets
  • Act as a trusted advisor to IT management on costs, risks, and governance

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or similar
  • Strong experience in Controlling / Financial Management
  • Excellent skills in budgeting, planning, forecasting, and analysis
  • Understanding of IT structures and processes (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, IT Management, or related field.

  • Proven experience in IT controlling, financial management, or IT process design.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, BI tools, and IT service management platforms.
  •  Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, or ISO 20000 frameworks.
  • Fluency in English
