Overview

Shape the future of subcontractor supply across Europe

We are looking for a commercially minded and strategic European Subcontractor Supply Chain Manager to lead and transform our subcontracted labor supplier base across Europe.

This is a high-impact role at the heart of our solutions and service business. You will drive supplier strategy, strengthen operational performance, and build a more standardized, scalable, and cost-effective subcontractor network across the region. If you enjoy combining strategy with execution, working across borders, and influencing both business and supply chain leadership, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of the European subcontracted labor supply base and help professionalize the way we engage, manage, and develop our subcontractor network.

Your focus will include:

  • Creating and implementing a standardized tendering approach using CCR tools to establish a strong baseline across Europe

  • Acting as a key driver in making Supply Chain the gatekeeper in the labor sourcing process

  • Building a flexible and resilient supplier base that can respond to both low and peak season demand

  • Identifying and introducing cross-border and low-cost sourcing opportunities

  • Performing make-or-buy analyses to support future workforce and subcontracting strategies

  • Developing and maintaining a subcontractor quality matrix

  • Partnering with training and operational teams to support qualification and capability development programs

  • Driving cost savings, labor productivity improvements, and margin expansion initiatives

  • Working closely with Finance to establish reliable productivity tracking and reporting mechanisms

  • Leading contract management, benchmarking, supplier performance improvement, and chargeback actions

  • Ensuring customer expectations are met through on-time delivery, quality, budget control, and compliance with EH&S standards

  • Acting as a trusted partner to both the European Supply Chain community and Business Leadership

What makes this role exciting

This is more than a supplier management role. It is an opportunity to shape how labor sourcing is managed across Europe, influence strategic decisions, and create lasting operational improvements.

You will have the chance to:

  • Drive transformation in a business-critical European function

  • Build strong international partnerships and create value across borders

  • Influence productivity, profitability, and service delivery

  • Work with senior stakeholders in Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Leadership

  • Lead meaningful change in a fast-moving, project-driven environment

Qualifications

What you bring

You are a strong communicator, a hands-on problem solver, and a commercially aware supply chain professional who knows how to turn strategy into action.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is plus

  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain

  • 5+ years of experience in installation subcontracting and subcontractor management

  • Experience in a project-oriented installation business

  • Strong commercial, sourcing, and purchasing skills

  • Solid business judgment and a good understanding of how to influence the P&L through optimization initiatives

  • The ability to work independently and make sound business decisions in a dynamic environment

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and bring people on board

  • Experience working across countries and cultures in an international organization

  • A technical mindset; refrigeration experience is a plus

  • Fluency in English and Czech; German is highly desirable

  • Experience with SAP/ERP systems and MS Office

  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel internationally

Who you are

You thrive in international environments and enjoy building bridges across teams, functions, and countries. You bring energy, structure, and a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do.

You are someone who demonstrates:

    • Passion for the customer

    • Strong ethics and compliance awareness

    • A results-driven mindset

    • The ability to lead change and drive performance

    • Confidence in managing conflict and balancing stakeholder needs
