Overview

 The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance team’s objectives and contributing to the overall success of the business. This position is based at our Lisbon Hub in Portugal (Parque das Nações) and will support our operations in Northern Europe.

Goals and objectives: 

 

  • Challenge and consolidate results from Business Areas in the actual reporting, forecasting and Plan / Budget exercises
  • Own companywide reporting (for Country internal meetings and to HQ required meetings), ensuring accurate and on time reporting, but also upgrading the process to make it leaner and more real-time
  • Leverage technology and tools to automatize processes and accelerate decision-making
  • Manage project controlling from revenue and cost standpoint
  • Initialize forecast of P&L and cash-flow, identify and share targets delivery actions
  • Proactive approach to align area processes to HQ requirements and goals
  • FBP to Central Functions (HR, Supply Chain, etc)

 

How you can make an impact: 

 

  • Own P&L and Balance Sheet as an entrepreneur in a start-up enviroment
  • Identify and conduct analysis (“deep dive”) in the specific topics – going to root cause with operations / business and conclude on action plan and tracking of the progress
  • Drive a culture of 'best practice' by leading / participating in various process improvement projects to simplify, streamline and automate
  • Work with a wide range of key stake holders including the Area Finance Team (Accounting, controlling and Finance Management) and leadership team as well as operational and functional teams
  • Pro-actively anticipate market / technology / financial trends to lead the race and not be a follower

Qualifications

Requirements

 

Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge:

 

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, business management or other related fields
  • 3+ years experience with similar tasks
  • Good knowledge of SAP with excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • HFM (incl SmartView) and Power BI knowledge is a plus
  • Analytical skills combined ability to think end-to-end process
  • Team spirit, strong communication skills and structured thinking
  • Autonomy, show resilience and dare to challenge and disrupt existing processes
  • Full English proficiency, Norwegian is a plus
