Procurement & Supply Chain Assistant

For the Supply Chain department we are looking for an Procurement & Supply Chain Assistant who will join our UK team. The Role will be office based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire or working remotely, but some visits to the office will be required. • Raise PRP (project requisition planning) orders for materials
• Managing the stock levels of the various article groups
• Raise PRP (project requisition planning) orders for racks
• Control hire equipment
• PPE ordering  
• Indirect (Non project) orders
• Management of cylinders
• Planning transport (inbound) PARTS
• Arrange local transport (outbound)
• Total Logistic Costs reporting
• Back-up for SC country lead

Education, knowledge and expierence:

• Educated to at least A level preferred
• Experience with an ERP (BAAN) system or willingness to learn it;
• You are professional, cost-conscious and commercial in your dealings.
• You are results-oriented, representative, have perseverance and are eager to learn;
• You also have good communication skills, have persuasive powers, keep an overview and are stress-resistant.
